About a year ago we began looking for a house in the Corvallis area to use for personal use and rental use when we are not there. We wanted a licensed Property Manager we could count on to take care of every detail when we aren’t around.

Our family went overseas on a 5-month sabbatical, and we had to make plans for our Corvallis home. We worked with the local Windermere Property Management agency thinking that getting a family to rent our home for 5-months would be the best approach. After two months with no potential clients we looked for other options.
On short notice, Alexandra was able to prepare and market the house as a short-stay and extended stay vacation rental. We were very impressed with the level of service we received! Every logistical detail was handled, and in fact she went out of her way to manage any issues that arose. We really appreciated the comprehensive financial summary she presented upon on our return. It was nice to return to a spotless house, and some surprisingly large checks from short-term bookings. Three years ago I met with Alexandra Eder to discuss renting our family guest cottage. She convinced me that with a little updating it could become a good source of extra income without a lot of work on my part.
It took a little monetary outlay, from us, to meet her standards for bedding, furniture and general ambiance to appeal to visitors which she assured me we would recoup after our VRBO listing was up and running. We recovered our initial investment the first year and have made furniture improvements.
